The Rotary journey of Diana Nestorova started in Sammamish, WA. After she transferred to the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough, MA she served as RYLA and Interact Chair, International Chair, District Grants Chair, and the Board of Directors. She is District Youth Service Chair, an Assistant Governor, and on Multi District Conferences committees. Diana is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI). For outstanding efforts and exemplary work, she was honored with the RI Five Avenues of Service Presidential Citation. 

As club president, Diana led her club to high accomplishments and several District and RI awards, including Best Digital Marketing, PR Award, Youth Service Award, 100% Foundation Giving, 100% Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member, Lead Club per capita Annual Giving, as well as the Gold RI Presidential Citation Award. That year the Commonwealth of Massachusetts House of Representatives granted a Citation for the club's Veteran’s Day Breakfast program. 

Diana was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. After the collapse of communism in 1990, she and her family moved to England and then to the United States. She is fluent in her native tongue of Bulgarian and in English, and is skilled in French, Russian, and Italian. With an educational background in Economics and Global Management, Diana has worked in various specialist capacities for the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Ministry of Commerce, Manchester City Council (UK), International Labor Organization and Parliament of Labor in Geneva (Switzerland). 

An active community volunteer, Diana maintains many civic involvements. She is on the board of the Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council and has been on the boards of numerous public service organizations. 

Diana resides in Acton, MA with her husband. They have two adult children. Diana enjoys reading, traveling, and most of all, quality time with her family.
