Melissa Ward

 

Melissa joined Rotary in 2002 as a charter member of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club.  Shortly after Melissa participated in a mission trip to Zimbabwe that would forever change her view of Rotary (and the world).  That trip helped Melissa understand the true power and reach of Rotary.  Melissa was District Governor from 2012-2013 for Rotary District 7190 and is currently the Zone Coordinator for Zone 32. 

Melissa has presented at various club, district, and zone events as well as the International Convention as a trainer for public image and membership.  She also had the honor of keynoting to her own class at the International Assembly.

Melissa Ward has been working online since 1999.  As the Managing Partner of NewWard Development, LLC, Melissa manages the internet presence of her clients.  From web site design to inbound marketing techniques, Melissa’s job is to make sure her clients get found and convert visitors into customers. 

As a trainer, Melissa takes the time to understand the nuances of each industry and creates actionable plans to help business get the most out their investment online.  As a speaker, Melissa is enthusiastic, dynamic and offers solutions in non-tech language.  Audiences walk away motivated and with knowledge to take action. As a consultant, Melissa works one on one with business owners and companies to help them find the best and the shortest path to online success. 

When she isn’t working or volunteering, Melissa spends time traveling, and enjoying life in upstate New York with her family and her dogs, Otis and Toby.
